Day 4 in office work out πŸ’ͺ for 15 minutes.

You know sometimes you just don’t get the chance to go to the gym. Your schedule for the day just might not allow it, (or in my case, you wake up too late to go to the gym because you were binging on your favorite sitcoms as you do your nails the night before and stayed up way too late- therefore the next morning you look like this picture down below) πŸ˜‚

– Anyway, don’t let that stop you from giving yourself at-least 15 minutes of a heart jump start.

Wheelie chairs can get you started. What I did today was do “crab walks” with the chair and worked on my hamstrings, then once I couldn’t take it anymore I did some squats, after that I did some assisted pushups. I did any little exercises where I didn’t sweat too much or where I made to much of a ruckus. I didn’t want to be distracting or be drenched with too much sweat either during my work day.

How did you do today? Hope you are starting on a good note, if you haven’t that’s ok, get started now. 15 minutes is all you need to make an impact on your lazy daily routine. I feel good about myself. So should you. Keep it going guys!

Day 3 of gym πŸ’ͺ (mini motivator)

Don’t you just love saunas after a nice workout. Today I did 25 mins swim, 1 lap fast, one lap easy, and then you throw in different strokes. You want to get that heart pumping.

How did you do today? Remember if you didn’t work out today that’s ok, but get your clothes ready for the gym tonight, that way tomorrow you are one step more ready than yesterday, that is what we call a mini motivator. πŸ˜‰

Just because you didn’t workout today doesn’t mean you should give up for tomorrow. You are only a failure if you stop trying. Keep it up. It’s a process but be happy that you are on a process. You are so much ahead than yesterday by planning what you want to do tomorrow. For the others, if you did something towards your goal today, that is awesome πŸ‘πŸΌ. Be proud – and you slacker for today be proud that you are taking out your clothes for tomorrow. πŸ˜‰

Lo Day 2 at the gym. πŸ‘πŸΌ β€œSomething is something”.

o aniod 5 mins in the sauna. How did you do on your goal today? Remember every step no matter how small, counts towards your goal. Be proud of that! I am proud.

I remember crying to my brother the other day that I’ve gotten so overweight that now it was going to be so much harder to get back on a healthy track. You know what he told me? He said ” Good, be proud of that, because when you get to your goal you will have known that you had to work super hard to have gotten where you are”. That hit me like a bucket of cold water. (I love cold water πŸ˜‰). I just never saw it that way. What a positive way to view something difficult! Now that has become my motivation, to be proud of something… anything..and with these small daily goals that I accomplish, my smile gets alittle bigger each day because I know something is something.😊

Keep it up guys! Before you know we are going to look back and say “wow, look at what we accomplished”. πŸ˜‰

Stay Motivated at the gym for 6 days of the week for a whole month.

The dreaded gym, has there ever been a time that we have called out for more Motivation? Please join me on my journey to improve myself, starting with my new friend, the gym. My goal is to go for 6 days of the week for a whole month. Even if it’s just 15 mins a day. My brother, the “all American”, don’t we all have one in the family, who reminds me daily, I know what an angel, right, to just work up a sweat even if it’s just for 15 mins a day. Tonight after a long day of working, helping other people, I am proud to say that I am at the gym and I was on the elliptical for 10 mins and then I went in the sauna for 5 mins thrice. (“Miami is nice so I’ll say it thrice”). I am exhausted but I am also proud of myself, because even though it’s going to be a journey, it’s a journey none the less and a journey that will help me grow into a healthier person. Motivation to live

We have so much to be thankful for. Just to look up and see the glory of the way the sunlight streams through the trees. It captures the true beauty of creation. The sun captures the colors that every matter holds. It can be simply brilliant to see how wonder is all around us. So what can be our motivation today?
